Monrovia, August 11, 2025. The Civil Society Human Rights Advocacy Platform proudly welcome human rights defenders from across Liberia including women human rights defenders, environmental advocates, and grassroots activists to the validation of the National Human Rights Policy, held at Monrovia City Hall.
We extend our deepest appreciation to the United Nation office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), the European Union (EU), the independent National Commission on Human Rights (INCHR), and all Civil Society institutions working tirelessly to promote and protect human rights in Liberia.
We also commend the Government of Liberia, through the ministry of Justic, for its openness and commitment to the approval of the landmark policy. This milestone represents a significant step forward in advancing and safeguarding the rights and dignity of all people in Liberia
